Pay Range- $22.00-$32.00 + 10% Shift Differential Based on your skill & experience determined in conjunction with the hiring manager

Monday – Thursday 2:00 p.m. – 12:00a.m. Overtime is available

IronRoad is seeking an experienced, results-oriented 1st shift CNC Operator (both experienced and entry level applications are welcomed) who has a great vibe for our Cincinnati, Ohio client. Our client's business is comprised of the Jordan Valve, Low Flow, Steriflow, Steriflow Food & Beverage, Marwin, Hex, and Bestobell product lines. The CNC Operator will report directly to the Production Manager.

The CNC Operator will be responsible for:

• Machine Operation/production
• Load/unload parts within qualified time given
• Must be able to distinguish and identify proper tooling/collects/fixtures and jaws for efficient set-up
• Inspect cutting tools for sharpness and usability.
• Observes machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometer and dial caliper. Adjust machine to control part process.
• Post edits CNC program to fine tune process for optimum performance with assistance of a CNC Op/Programmer, lead person or programmer; submit changes to programmer
• Able to perform "first-piece" in-process inspection
• Machine set up
• Continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications Include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of CNC machining experience for entry level $22.00 – 25.00
• 5 years of CNC machining for experienced level $28.00 – 32.00
• General PC knowledge
• Knowledge of AS400 system
• Knowledge of CNC Turning/Mill Machine
• Capable of handling 50 lb. to 200 lb. valve bodies with the assistance of hand trucks, lifts, conveyors, and hoists.
• The ability to stand for long periods up to eight or more hours at a time.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime when scheduled.
